It is event season.
HR Tech Europe, Transform, Acadian Venture's very own events, and three minutes of musical perfection.
Letting you know where I’ll be. My inscrutable ramblings will resume soon.
I will be at HR Tech Europe in Amsterdam on the 4-5 March. I have no formal agenda, I’m going to catch up with founders and the broader HR tech community. If you would like to meet up, please drop me a note. It may be a bit early for Tulips.
On the 6th March, we have put together a virtual event featuring 5 of our Portfolio companies talking about how they are using AI in production. No hype, just the reality of making it work. Now. Do come along. Learning from our portfolio companies is what makes my job so interesting. More details in the post below.
I’ll be hopping over the pond to Las Vegas later in March for the HR Transform conference, Jason has put together a shindig over there, with some excellent sponsors.
I last attended 3 years ago. If you would like to meet up, drop me a note.
The highlight of the year for us is going to be our summit in Park City on May 21st. It will take place on the day after our LP conference. We are bringing together leaders from our industry. It’s an invite only event, please check out the website. As our firm develops, we plan to be more assertive and consequent in positioning our brand. Watch this space.
In other news: we are hiring.

Speaking of events, Charlotte and I saw Daniil Trifonov live in Mannheim a few weeks ago, playing Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor op. 54. It was brilliant.
My good friend Paul pointed me to his performance of Bill Evans’ When I fall in Love. It is quite stunning. This is probably the most lovely 3 minutes of piano playing you may ever hear.
