It has been quite a week. I'm now back in Germany, after the Acadian Ventures AGM and Summit. While we are obviously biased, our team of Jason Corsello Erin Yang David Clarke Ryan McQueeney and Audrey Handem knocked it out of the park. My deepest thanks, especially to Jason, who has been on the details since he first had the idea for the event. Thanks also to Brady, his son, for the digital side of things.
We wanted to achieve two things:
1. Give our LPs and founders the opportunity to meet and learn from each other, report back on the performance of the funds, and articulate our plans for the firm.
2. Create an event where the founders and leaders in our industry could meet, and collectively engage in the future of work tech.
The location was magnificent, but it was really the people that made it work so well. To our speakers, founders, investors, and friends of the firm, thanks for coming and making the two days fun and a such success. We had over 60 attendees for the AGM and over 100 for the summit. We think that’s about the right size for this sort of thing.
Over the next few weeks I'll be writing up what we learnt from the event, and we will be posting various videos too.
Our speakers included many of our founders, and leaders and founders of some of the most successful companies in our industry. We also heard from the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Labor, Keith Sonderling.

Some of the attendees have already posted their feedback. Keep it coming.
