I’m returning to your article after seeing one of your posts about Lattice abandoning their HRIS initiative on LinkedIn. I was wondering if you ever published the piece you mentioned: “I have long post on the way on what I think the next generation core HR architecture…” Apologies if I missed it.
In the interest of transparency, I should mention that I was at Cornerstone OnDemand during their expansion into HRIS, where I helped implement their products. I was fortunate to have prior HRIS experience. I was fortunate to have prior HRIS experience, and I’ve always kept a keen eye on companies that make the transition from talent management to HRIS. That first conversation about effective dates is always interesting.
Building a core HR is not for the faint of heart. Growing and scaling a core HR is also a huge effort. I also love the idea of asking different questions about work, workers and jobs though - I'm here for that every day of the week.
As always, a great contribution Thomas! By the way: at Paybix we definitely know how hard it is to accommodate all the intricacies of global payroll in a SaaS. Actually, how hard it WAS because we broke the code! Let me know if you want to learn more how we slayered the dragon.
Well this turned in a direction I didn’t expect. Lattice raised the ire of a good few people. Marketing is hard.
